8HR Course

NFPA requirements in Chapters 1 and 2. Course objectives include: How the 70E is structured for use; Understanding changes to the NFPA 70E 2021 edition; Understanding the requirements of an Electrical Safety Program (ESP); Training requirements for qualified and unqualified persons; Electrical hazards in the workplace: Shock and Arc Flash/Arc Blast; Establishing an Electrically Safe Work Condition (ESWC); Electrical equipment labeling; Shock and Arc flash PPE; Lockout/Tag Out practices; energized Electrical Work Permit; Work Related “At Risk” Behaviors. Attendees receive a workbook to follow the presentation and complete a proficiency exam at course end.
